This is the first of a series of articles discussing the problems with public transit especially in major cities, regions or municipalities. This is mostly an introductory article but I will be running a series of these articles with ideas and suggestions to make transit better and more efficient.

I have created this website to discuss transit growth, planning, and Transit Oriented Developments across Canada. I’ve highlights the need to address the increasing urban populations and the consequent strain on transit systems. The site will explore regional congestion problems, current transit operations, and possible improvements. It will also provide opportunities for public discussions and analyses of city growth, employment areas, residential neighborhoods, and their impacts on transit growth.
